A drawing of the Infamous John Dillinger, inspired by the upcoming movie, Public Enemies.

Dillinger was a “criminal’s criminal”- robbed banks on sheer free will, and laughed at the authorities during his campaign of (bank) terror. This drawing is based off of his real life image (located at the wiki page below), not from Johnny Depp’s likeness. With Depp and Christian Bale at odds on the big screen, they already have my money.

As with many other alien species, Muntabb, an entity from the dimension known as the Nether Regions, has become particularly interested in the fate of man. Some of these species abilities are so far more advanced than the potential of mankind that they have become ‘judges of souls’. What is interesting is that the soul is the one part of mankind that they have yet to understand- and as such they attempt to judge them. Humans with the potential to be alpha are subjugated by the Door of Damnation. Those with lesser potential are allowed to go through the Door of Retribution, and continue on until they are deemed to become dangerous- in which they are either recruited (taken on as heralds), enslaved or eradicated.

Rough visual interpretations of Muntabb surrounded by the Door of Damnation, and the Door of Retribution as they have been described in literature. There are no known physical images of these doors or what kind of materials they could be possibly formed from.

The Mask of Butcherhead is a replica of the commander’s helmet from the infamous Red Dragon Knights, a military arm of the Order of Saints who ravaged civilizations across the globe waving the flag of the Red Dragon Queen, Merurmiir. Merumiir was one of the Archent- an ancient order of dragons who were supposedly disappointed with the evolutionary curve taken my mankind. Merumiir sent her death knights across the earth to lay waste to chosen lands to decimate their civilizations, in which so mans evolutionary clock could ‘restart’ itself.

Butcherhead was noted for putting his raids on pause just to slaughter the rest of ‘livestock’- their term for humans- by himself, then devour of the corpses. He would also keep impaled bodies on his helmet for days at a time.

It is not clear where or whence the Ebu came from, but the tall, lanky entity is known as a grand deity of the forests. It is believed that it is the last of a long gone race of forest ‘caretakers’; one of many species that suffered great losses from the prominence of human magics over the centuries.

After it chooses an area to ‘raise’, the Ebu, with it’s massive, lanky frame, squats down to the surface, while it’s underneath opens to expel a mysterious energy into the ground that plant trees where it sits. The sight has only rarely ever been experienced by man, due to the fragile relationship between humans and the Forests. The contract humans have with the Forests are for safe passage only, so many of it’s secrets and treasures remain hidden as not to be exploited by humans.

Back in 99/01′, I worked for a company called 24/7 Media, an internaet advertising company that was formed from some other companeis and…yadda yadda yadda. They happened to own one of the original online gaming sites, aptly named, Riddler.com. Once endowed with a team of around 30 programmers, after the great bubble burst of 2k that team fell to ONE, a bud of mine name Marc. At one point we were commandeered to redesign the game site. So I ended up re-branding the main character and introduced some sidekicks as well, pushing the tone of the character and site to a darker feel than the lighthearted original. The theme was, “Mad Jester” if I remember correctly. For a two-man team, we did a bang-up job. The site still exists (will it ever truly die??), and if you look closely you will find snippets of my original game icons, like on this page. (Scrambler icon) I’ll add a link of the original design and logo update soon.

Check out his mad-dog sidekick, Oscar De La Kujo here.

There was once a town with a great gift called the Mask of The Spartan. The mask allowed the townsfolk to look into the future and avoid unfortunate events that would come to plague the town by allowing them to prepare in advance. The town prospered with the help of the mask. In response to their prosperity, a neighboring town became very jealous of the other towns good fortune over the years, and shunned them.

One day, a resident of the prosperous town looked into the mask and saw the ultimate horror- the town had been burned to the ground, the people slaughtered and death at the hands of some unknown enemy.

So as usual, the town began to prepare for this vision- by training an army, creating armaments of which to defend themselves. They stood prone and ready for this assault, convinced by past situations that they would prevail with the forewarning from the mask.

Ironically, the jealousy filled neighboring town noticed that their rivals were arming themselves- looking prepared for battle, or even war. Themselves having no army, and fearing for their safety, the panicking town requested help from a nearby kingdom with a great army to suppress the town who had been recently Increasing their armaments. The Army stormed the town, burning it into the ground. None survived.

It is still a mystery how the mask earned such a name, considering the circumstances.

One day, for unknown reasons, a village in the deep forests of the Netherlands became surrounded by a pack of vicious wolves who attacked anyone who tried to leave the village.

In this village the local welder had an idea- he would create a mask. This mask would allow him to fool the wolves into believing he wasn’t human, allowing him leave the village with the wolves attacking him so he could bring supplies back with him. Amazingly, with the mask on, the wolves thought the man to be a fellow animal like them and let him pass. After many trips to and fro, the young welder because increasingly believed he could remove the mask in front of the wolves to show them that he was human, and they could coexist. So one day while passing by the wolf pack he took off the mask, smiling and gesturing to the wolves that he and the mask are one and the same.

The idea was shortsighted however- the wolves were not pleased they were tricked by the mask, and immediately killed the man, and overran the village killing mostly everyone. The survivors, unable to fetch aid, perished soon after. Ater the last human died, the wolf pack abandoned the village, leaving the mask untouched. Found years later after the incident, the mask was given such a name because for some unknown reason, the wolves clearly held hearts of stone towards men.
